• 02 Prizes for a Raffle

‘CARNIVAL FOR A CAUSE’: Hope and a Future Learning Center will be opening in May 2011 for the new Thai school year. In order to open the school, Hope and a Future Learning Centre will be having a carnival on February 5th from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. to help raise funds. A raffle will be held at 7:30 p.m. If you would like to make a donation for the raffle prize, it would be greatly appreciated. All proceeds from the raffle and carnival will go towards developing the school facilities, hiring teachers, and getting the school ready for May. Shaggy is 2 years old and very calm with a gentle nature. He is clever and would be easy to train further as he already knows basic commands. Look no further than this mellow guy who gets along with all the dogs and just loves humans! He will need some grooming for his golden locks but all in all a perfect family dog! • 05 Disaster Relief Charity

Chiang Mai resident, Mark Stevenson, is heading off to the Atacama Desert, Chile, in March to compete in a 250km 6-day ultramarathon as part of the annual Racing The Planet 4Deserts series. The other three races are in the Sahara, Gobi Desert and Antartica. This will be Mark’s second race, he completed the Gobi last summer, and, as before, he will be raising money for Shelterbox, a disaster relief charity. Citylife has some fans at Bangkwang Prison (AKA Bangkok Hilton) as we send them monthly copies of the magazine.
