02 Dog of the month: Socks

Socks is just so sweet and affectionate…when you meet her you’re bound to fall immediately in love – I know I did! She really has bundles of character all the way down to her little white socks. She is very loyal, a good friend, and she is good on leash. She is 1-2 years old, healthy, happy and yours for the taking! To make an appointment to meet with her, contact the shelter at 084 752 5255 for English or 086 913 8701 for Thai.

03 Thai Elephant-Assisted Therapy Project (TETP)

Humans and elephants are bonding to help enhance the lives of autistic individuals and sustain an endangered species. TETP began in 2007 and is already showing stunning results. It has also attracted the interest and support of international practitioners in the field of autism, to whom the effectiveness of animal-assisted therapy has been well-known since the 60s. We are convinced that it will be a non-harmful contribution to the sustainable conservation and welfare of elephants.
